About Me
Hello! My name is Dan and I’m starting my second career to help others like me make the most of their online small businesses.
Welcome to my blog, where I share what I’ve found inspiring and useful in pursuing my goal of having online success.
A little about me:
My first career was in secondary education as an English and Reading teacher, transitioning to Head Librarian in a high school of 180 faculty and 1,700 students. I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn and understand new things, whether
teaching literature or writing skills, or learning how to go about researching an interesting topic.
An exciting part of being a high school librarian for the last 18 years of my career was expanding a traditional print library of books to one that included computer labs, databases, and electronic references. I instituted a barcode system for all three campuses to access all library books and have a real-time inventory of all student textbooks.
Why I started this blog:
This blog is a way for me to stay current on what’s happening with new technology and ways that help people share information and stay connected. It’s also a way for me to stay creative and apply what I’m learning. I sincerely hope to build an online community with benefits for all participants.
