1) They try to do everything at once
Affiliate marketing looks simple until you try to build the full machine.
Offer, funnel, email follow-up, tracking, and traffic all have to work together. If you try to build it all in one weekend, you end up with a messy version of everything.
2) They chase tactics instead of building an asset
A new traffic trick can feel exciting, but it does not replace an asset that compounds.
The asset is your list and your follow-up.
3) They pick offers with no plan behind them
Most people “pick a product” the way you pick a movie.
They do not think about the funnel, the angle, or how it fits into a longer-term plan.
4) They rely on motivation
Motivation is unreliable. Structure is reliable.
5) They blame traffic too early
Traffic is important, but it is not the first issue most of the time.
If the structure is weak, more clicks just show you more clearly where you are leaking.
6) They do not have a simple daily rhythm
Most people either do nothing for days or do too much in one sitting.
You need a rhythm you can keep, even on busy weeks.
7) They keep starting over
This one hurts because it is common.
A half-built funnel never pays you back. A finished one can.
